Certification cannot be purchased. It must be approved.
The Certified Ashologist Program is built around real cigar knowledge, industry experience, retailer understanding, customer service, and the Ashology standard. Becoming a Certified Ashologist is not automatic.
The Certified Ashologist designation is not available for sale, sponsorship, or promotional exchange. It is granted only after careful review of knowledge, experience, professionalism, and alignment with the Ashology standard.
Certified Ashologist status is not a government license, academic degree, or guarantee of commercial success. It is a private program approval reflecting alignment with a professional standard.
Submitting an application does not guarantee certification. Approval is selective and based on merit — not transaction.
Applications are reviewed based on the information submitted, industry background, stated interests, and overall fit with the Ashology framework. The process is deliberate — designed to protect the integrity of the designation.
Not all applicants will receive certification. Not all applicants will receive a direct response beyond application confirmation.
